Maybe Staubach, but I'm not up to par on QBs that old, but Romo certainly has a great case as the best QB they've ever had

Roger is the best hands down

The list is as follows for Dallas QB:
Roger
Romo
Troy
Vinny
Meredith
White
Morton
Hogeboom
LeBaron

The end of the list is always Babe

Not silly at all. I forget that accomplishments aren't important anymore when determining greatness.

Bradshaw accomplishments:
4x Super Bowl Champion
2x Super Bowl MVP
3x Pro Bowl
1x MVP
2x NFL Passing TD leader
3091 Attempts
2025 Completions

Marino Accomplishments:
9x Pro Bowl
1x MVP
3X NFL passing TD leader
8358 Attempts
4967 Completions

Both quite impressive. Whose is better?

You're making a fool of yourself.

Oh wait, you DO think that Bradshaw is better than Marino?

Ok, we're about done here.

Bradshaw gets dumped on this board when it comes to comparing QB's. He is not a scrub like some make him to be.

Marino is the better QB, yes, but it is not like Bradshaw is not a top flight guy.

Bradshaw playing today would have been a star. He had rocket arm, good size, and was mobile. It was not until later he became a statue. People like to call him dumb, because he plays up his folksy thing on TV. He was the last of calling his own plays. He called all his own plays.

Would you not say those are both very impressive resumes? Hall of fame worthy?

Since it's more about feelings than accomplishments, I think you would be better to answer these questions.

I never said Romo wasn't good but to say he was the best Dallas QB is to dismiss other Dallas QB's who have accomplished more. Which is realize isn't important to you.

Still stuck in the "rings trump everything else" mindset, I see.

True, I agree.

But he just fits the mold because of how many rings he has and everyone(except Kentucky fan poster) knowing he's nowhere near any top 3 or 5 or all time QB list.

Hall of good but not as good as Dan Marino.

Better QB, Eli Manning or Drew Brees? Eli Manning or Aaron Rodgers?

Marino was a better pure passer, but Bradshaw was more clutch in my opinion. He also had a better team around him and didn't have to carry the load solely. Lots of factors to consider, not just titles and yardage.

I never said he was top 5 all time, where you are getting that from?

You must have Marino ranked around 47th best QB ever!

Bradshaw has the most rings, how can he NOT be top 5?

Perfect example of the optional relevance of SB rings.

Romo vs Aikman? "Dude, one guy has three rings, the other has none."

Marino vs Bradshaw? "Have to consider the team surrounding Marino. More factors to consider than just titles and yardage."

Did I miss something? Did this thread say Romo was top 3 or 5 all time?

But not for Romo!!

As I said, it's count the rings...until it isn't, for no real reason.

Why aren't you factoring one of the best RBs of all time, the best OLine of all time and a D much better than Romo's Cowboys D when comparing Romo vs Aikman?

Also: Better QB, Eli Manning or Drew Brees? Eli Manning or Aaron Rodgers?

I get it, you are a Romo fan. That's fine. Did I ever say it wasn't fine for you to be a Romo fan?

You seem really hung up on that. Sorry about that.

And again, why do you factor in things re: Bradshaw's better team vs Marino's, but you don't do the same for Romo vs Aikman?
