ETA: Not to mention they play in different schemes so there really isn't an apples to apples comparison. Least amount of attempts to Sherman's side doesn't really tell the whole story. It's not like he never has a safety playing over the top of his guy, so no an offense wouldn't throw that way.
i see a lot of that but you know what, frick sherman. He gets a pr pass bc he went to stanford and throws an 11 letter vocabulary word out there every once and a while. frick him. He's trash.

I loved his rant...with that said, everytime he is criticized there is an excuse or the race card is played.

Sherman is an outstanding corner and claiming that he is only that good bc of Thomas and Chancellor is just dumb.
Other than Peterson's return skills, I think the main difference between Sherman, Haden, and Peterson is their age. Sherman could only swing a 4 year contract extension because he will be 30 at that point. Haden got his 5 year contract which will put him at 30 when his contract is up as well. Cornerbacks typically slow down big time when they get close to 30.

Sherman is so good at what he does, on and off the field.
It's just a game, why in the world would anyone want him to stop talking is beyond me, it makes things infinitely more interesting.

I don't mind a talker too much but god damn Sherman is annoying as frick. The worst part is it's hard to escape when everyone reports everything he says.

My point is that it's really none of his business what Peterson is getting or wants to get paid. Hell, Peterson didn't even say anything negative towards Sherman in any way. Sherman just can't help himself. He's the Roddy White of the northwest

Not really a Saints fan so I don't keep up with everything he does/says. He doesnt do many things to get the attention of the unbiased fan, imo.

As far as Sherman goes, I don't hate the man at all. I'm just pointing out that he's always go an opinion when he doesn't necessarily need to. I'd love to have Sherman on the Saints. His play does his talking for him, so I don't understand why he feels the need to defend himself at every turn. If I was Peterson I'd simply reply with "You worry about you contract, I'll worry about mine"
