Barnes is a solid young 3 with all-start talent?

Did you watch any Warriors games or even hear about what kind of year Barnes had?

Dudes only 21

It's fairly difficult to make an impact with Curry/Thompson/Iggy/Lee all taking shots

He's talking about Harrison Barnes... not Matt Barnes.

I think they would have to give up Thompson or even Iggy. Lee and Barnes isn't enough for Love because you're getting a downgrade at PF and a role player.

He regressed bad this year. He looked promising as a rookie, but was terrible this year.

Lee is a downgrade but he's not some scrub

Houston might have the best pieces, but has he mentioned them as a team he wants to play for?

i thought he said he wanted to play on one of the big market teams. I dont think he'd be willing to sign long term with Hou, thus them not having a shot.

He wants to go to one of these:

Bulls
Knicks
Lakers

No, he's not a scrub but if you are trading a young all-star and your team isn't good, wouldn't you prefer a package centered around young players and picks? Lee and Barnes doesn't seem like the best deal they could get unless they want to remain the 10th best team in the West.

Yet the proposed group of Asik/Parsons/Jones is anywhere close.

I think Lee is the only real all star listed as a potential trade piece from any of the listed teams. A group of complete role players is pointless to Minnesota IMO.

Wojo has mentioned Houston as being a top target because he wants to win, would fit in perfect next to Dwight and has a great relationship with McHale (plus he and Harden are good friends)...but again, who really knows at this point.

Lakers don't have the assets to get him imo

I am not saying he is ending up in Houston, but I think most would prefer Asik, Jones and Parsons over Lee and Barnes...

n/m just saw who I was responding to...disregard.

GS could also throw in a pick to sweeten it.

But to be honest I'm thinking it's going to be the Celtics/Bulls/Warriors/or Lakers

The only team listed that has realistic pieces to attain him and stay a contender is Golden State.
