Any trades you thought might have been possible at the time if it wasn't for Sterling?

I don't know, but it's probably not the worst thing in the world considering how bad Doc has been as a GM.

I have no pity for Doc or CP3. It was well known who Sterling was and that he was a tpos.

I'm quite honestly sick of hearing what doc rivers and/or Chris Paul has to say about Donald sterling, given that they both knew who/what he was before they decided to become part of that organization(rivers), or chose to resign with the organization when they could've gone elsewhere(Paul).

I'm not saying it isn't true, but it's a little convenient to chalk things up to one of, if not the most hated man in NBA history. Especially when he's made decisions such as allowing the ball to be in his son's hands at the end of the game.

No shite. Doc was making it seem like he had trades in place that would send them to the finals.

Yea well if I thought I could believe Doc I might have some thoughts on this but since I find him to mostly be whiny/FOS I can't be sure this is true

Doc can talk all the shite he wants with a former racist / mormon owner. But, fact is their are a lot of idiot owners and those teams do ok. He is coaching CPS, Blake Griffin , Deandre Jordan and a decent supporting cast and he still can't win shite.

Stop blaming your problems and short comings on someone else.

This X10

A buddy and I had this discussion today, had the NBA not rejected the first trade between the Lakers/Hornets(Pelicans) how the whole league might be different. It is just one of those forever "what if moments."

In regards to owners, if the average fan actually knew or heard what the owners cared or think half of them would probably get ousted in today's society.

A sports franchise in the U.S. is nothing more than a great investment to most of these billionaires, you have some, more so in the NFL that are truly all in and invested in their teams success, but many that know sports franchises today have a great re-sale value, because for the super rich it is the ultimate toy for some of them.

IMO, nothing else matters more to the Clippers than Blake's development. If he can have 2-3 spots behind the three point line where he can be a real threat, then the Clipps will take the next step.

Lance,DeAndre whatevs. CP3 should take a backseat, Clipps are better with Blake running the show.

I somewhat agree with that even though I don't want it to happen.

When I've seen the Clippers look good and look like a threat is when Chris Paul is the distributor and not the 30 point guy and also when Griffin is dominating. Hitting that mid range shot and working down low. That's when they are good.

When they suck is when Griffin acts like a pussy and passes too much or can't hit a shot consistently. And he's been stuck that way for the last couple of seasons.
