If he is not punished properly he will do something that will land him in jail

Being a good teammate goes a long ways in getting players and coaches on your side. Also being a heisman winning quarterback helps. I think the players are on his side. And to add that I think it's stupid his draft stock is all of a sudden going down. Why wasn't it like this in december? Cam had the same issues Winston is going through. As long as he can commit to not breaking the law he'll be fine.

Cam didn't have the same issues. Cam did two things wrong, purchase a stolen laptop and his dad shot his mouth off. We're on incident number 6 with Jameis.

He has shown no indication of committing to not breaking the law. Not once he's a punk. Honestly, idk how those players deal with it. Winning or not, he's the face of the program and he makes them look really really bad.

a lot of the other players probably have the same amount of intelligence as winston, which isn't much.

Which ones specifically? Offense vs defense?

I thought the 'yelling obscenity' was absolutely hilarious. That being said, Jameis Winston comes off as a complete douche.

You don't understand how the players think. Winning is the only thing that matters. Forget all the extra stuff. All this talk about Jameis making FSU look bad. They could care less. They only care about getting another ring. And guess what, Jameis is that guy. He is a HUGE competitor and leader on the field(not off the field) and in the locker room.

So when it comes down to it, yes outside of that field, Jameis is pretty damn dumb. I mean the whole FHRITP thing was funny, yet stupid. It deserves punishment absolutely. His teammates would obviously like it if he toned it down a little bit. But you are absolutely retarded if you think every player inside that locker room don't want Jameis as their starting QB

That's the first thing that popped into my mind. Well liked, but feels like he is above the law and can charm his way out of anything.

Or just a likeable 20 year old who does stupid things.

I immediately hated him when I first heard him open his mouth. He has the vocabulary of a retarded four year old and he sounds like a thug piece of shite. His actions have not made me stray from that initial observation. I will be shocked if he is drafted in the first round. I dont see how anyone could want this guy to be the face of a billion dollar franchise. That's not even getting into football talk and how shitty his mechanics are.

I know they're on the same team and all. But at some point they've gotta just be like frick this guy right?

I read what he said and I was like, is that it?

I realize that he's under a microscope but again, was expecting far worse based on how the media were playing it up. Maybe it's me being in a military work envionment, but what he said was nothing IMO, certainly nothing to get suspended over.

Why would they be like "frick this guy?" Without him their national championships hopes are nil.
