It's becoming obvious that no team with James Harden and Dwight Howard as their two superstars will win an NBA Title. I saw Bill Simmons said he'd put money on Howard being traded by the deadline.

They're now out of the playoffs as of last night and they'll probably hover around 7-10 in the West. It's not like they're this particularly young team looking to grow into a contender, so it seems the best option would be to blow it up at the deadline.

A team with James Harden as its best player will never win a title.

Trade Harden, resign and rebuild around D12.

I agree. Won't happen though. Can't trade him.

Who would you prefer to keep: The People's MVP or Dwight?

becoming? It's was obvious before their names were ever mentioned in the same breath. Harden is a glorified sixth man and Howard is a glorified role player. Neither is a good leader, and neither will play defense.

That doesn't mean they will blow up the team, though. Need someone to put butts in the seats.

Kind of a drastic change for you. You were all over Harden being the Players' choice for MVP and now you want to get rid of him? Not very often fans want to trade the MVP.

Because you will never get fair value for him.

Well he was that can't be taken away from him. His peers chose his as MVP of the league.

Harden is the problem. I hate to say that. Dude signed the Adidas deal and chose not to work hard any more.

Who is equivalent value to Harden in the league that would even be on the market?

It would have to be a combo platter of guys.
