All those guys would get into a proper hitting stance once the pitch was about to be delivered. The pre-pitch stance didn't matter. But little leaguers didn't always understand that or couldn't get into a proper stance quickly enough.


I always liked Andre Dawson's stance.

There was a guy on my high school team that would have a different pro's batting stance at BP. Coach would get pissed and started throwing at him til he stuck with something.
