if you do, are you retarded???

Was on all 3 today, looking for 11 tickets to a baseball game, on a thursday, stl vs colorado.

These scam sites wanted $14-15 in fees per ticket, for the buyer. so $140-150 in fees,Are they fricking serious, it's 2024, you do not charge the buyer, only the seller.

Thank god for tickpick, ZERO fees for the buyer. I thought ticketmaster were thieves

I looked for some tickets to one of the garbage basketball games over the Christmas break here in Tuscaloosa. Tickets were like $2, but the fee was $11 per. Who in their right mind would pay that?

Someone who wanted to go to the basketball game for $13? Who cares how it's itemized if it's secure and a good price? SeatGeek has a great UI and generally they're all the same price across apps. Of course you should shop around but I'm not going to use tick pick for a ticket that's more expensive just bc they level label the fee somewhere else.

Are you really saving ALL of that money, or do they just roll the fees into the price of the ticket?

This 100%. I go to concerts all the time and have 4 second hand market apps. They’re always on par with the apps that have fees. TickPick is like all the rest.

Just did some investigating, my sample buy for 10 tickets to that game, stub hub was $324 and tick pick was $310, so a bit cheaper but not by a huge amount

What pissed me off is how much info you had to enter to get a final price on stubhub

Can't you just walk up to the gate and pretty much get any seat you want on a Thursday?

I would think so as long it’s not opening day.

Maybe it was different in other markets. But I miss the days when we could get Cardinals tickets at Schnucks. No need for this 3rd party ticket broker nonsense.

If you compare total cost across all four sites, you’re still end up paying close to the same overall. Tickpick is counting on you not doing that.

I'm a big fan of TIckPick, but that's definitely not how it works.

I'm more worried about reliability if I am paying money for a big event. I have heard some nightmare stories about Stubhub lately. Seatgeek came through smoothly for the national championship game. I did pay a lot in fees, but I assumed that Ticpick just gives you the full cost up front, whereas you see it at the checkout for other sites.
