I find this statement a bit fishy:

Not really. It's been well documented that rape victims sometimes don't want anyone to know they've been raped and will not press charges.

Sooo I was convinced Winston was just mistaken for someone else. DNA evidence proving he was in her underpants (literally) and she claims it was rape. With the coverup, this could get ugly. As soon as he is even charged with a crime, he will have to be suspended per FSU rules.

Well it wasnt... they didnt make it public in Jan after they IDed Winston. A journalists was given a tip to look at this case # and he did his job and investigated it and saw it was Winston that was the suspect in a claimed rape / sexually assault case. Then he reported it and the media got into it. The family hasnt said anything publically until now.
