NFL needs to clean up this bullshite catch mess
...and regroup and clarify the rules...and make them fan friendly and LOGICAL.
That was easily a catch in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.

The ball used to always be able to move in your hands as long as you had possession - it's called momentum and physics and is natural.

Yep. I know people need to keep the Mike Carey narrative going but he gets more than enough calls wrong so no need for people to manufacture false memories on the rare occasion when he actually got it right.

Change the rule:
1) touches the ground at any point not a catch
2) all ball movement is legal as long as point 1 doesn't occur.
Rule fixed. No confusion.
