No. I was blind and naive. I thought he was on some other legal supplement. He hit 49 home runs as a rookie, so I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. He and Sosa was still must watch TV then. That home run race was so much fun to follow that year. I don't ever see MLB being that popular again.
