Did Ohio State give the committee an out?

First of all, I have liked what the committee has done so far. I think they are taking this very seriously(and infinitely more seriously than the coaches and AP have historically). I love that they have been fluid weekly and not influenced by polls. Having TCU above Baylor took balls.
But I KNOW they had to be hoping for Kansas State or Georgia Tech to make it easy on them tonight/tomorrow. They had somewhat painted themselves in a corner with TCU at 3 and Baylor at 6. Even though Baylor played a better team, 3 spots is a big jump even if Baylor did blow out a good Kansas State team. Not only did that not happen, but Ohio Sate blew a good 9-2 Wisconsin the frick out. I mean, the frick OUT. Did that give the committee the wiggle rom they needed to get out of the corner they painted themselves into?
Let's not forget that Oklahoma losing today hurt both TCU's and Baylor's resumes. That was both of theirs 3rd best wins.

Yes.
It will be...
1) Alabama
2) Oregon
3) Ohio State
4) Florida State
OR
1) Oregon
2) Alabama
3) Florida State
4) Ohio State
Best believe that Oregon/Ohio State game will be in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl. Gotta keep it traditional and classy.

Uh.. no? Instead of 2 teams to seriously consider now they have 3.
The committee would have had an out if KSU, Wisconsin, and GT all won.

I'm interested if they move Minnesota back into the top 25. Would boost us and TCU

the committee really dug themselves into a hole by putting TCU over FSU, if they had TCU at 4 then they could have swapped out baylor and no one would say anything. but now since they won by like 50 people will throw tantrums when they get left out

Yes, big 12 needs to step up and get a conference championship game for one thing. But ultimately it's all about the best 4 teams being in the playoff and Ohio St made it clear today that they are that 4th team.

Not quite. No matter who they pick tomorrow, there will be bitching and cries for expanding the playoff field. If tOSU gets left out they cry foul because they beat tf outta a top 25 team with a 3rd stringer in the conf champ game. If TCU gets left out, they cry foul cause they were ranked 3rd and won by 50. If Baylor gets left out, they cry foul for beating TCU and having a better loss than tOSU and for beating a top 10 team. tOSU getting in would make the debate not as big but there will still be some people crying foul. They should've ranked TCU 4th and avoided this mess.

what they did in a CONFERANCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME against a very good Wisconson team should seal it
