This has got to be the dumbest conspiracy in local sports right now. Why do people believe this?

Because LSU fans would drown if they looked at the sky during a rain storm

Heavy interior draft that lead to a lot of skill guys slipping, with questions about his physicality and he didn’t go to interviews apparently and that can make or break you in some areas.

It didn’t effect Fornette, McCaffery, or Bosa. So it didn’t effect Williams

Because if they were a GM or Head Coach it would have hurt his stock in their eyes.

Skipping the bowl game wasn't the deal breaker.

Interviewing like a jackass surely did.

Imagine a medical student going "look at my step" or an engineer going "look at my certifications"

No. It’s bc after watching him on tape people noticed he decides when he wants and doesn’t want to tackle. Which in turn brought up questions about effort.

Greedy then skipped all interviews and didn’t have a chance to discuss his perceived lack of effort. Then he fell to 2nd rd

No it wouldn’t because someone that is GM or a coach doesn’t think like fans. Fans are mad he didn’t play for their team for free longer, they try and rationalize this by pretending its better for the players

People are dumb, and can’t fathom why a guy a few months away from a multi million $ payday wouldn’t want to risk that by playing in an exhibition game

Williams enters the pros with some limitations. He lacks instincts and awareness while not playing up to his timed speed. That was evident against Georgia and Alabama last year. He does not play well or have good feel in off-man coverage. He also is not a great fit as a zone corner. Thus, Williams is more of a second-round talent.

In speaking to team sources, numerous teams graded Williams in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. However, teams don't have 32 first-round graded players, so some second-round talents will get selected on the opening night of the draft. Williams is a favorite to be one of those players because he plays a premium position and has tools to work with. One general manager told WalterFootball.com that Williams is one of the most overrated players in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Skipping the interviews was much bigger than skipping the bowl game.

No.

He's small, stupid, immature, and can't tackle

You don't pay that type of guy upwards of 20 million
