Most media reports have it as just a "medial meniscus tear", which should be a 4-6 week injury. I don't think most non-bulls fans bother to go digging around for the exact type of injury or surgery, because why the frick should we?

Which is a quick fix... Rose opted to repair the meniscus, which is better for his long term health.

Dwayne Wade had the meniscus "snipped" in college, and he now says thats part of the reason he is experiencing knee issues.
