There are some great things going on this football season:
*Improbable season in Arizona
*Incredible AFC North race
*Resurgence of the Cowboys (yeah, I said it)
*The rookie WR class is the WR equivalent of the 1983 QB class
*Teams like the Bills and Lions becoming relevant again
*J.J. Watt is Superman
However, with the exception of the Cowboys storyline, most of this is being ignored because of 1)Roger Goodell's incompetence, 2)bad officiating and stupid rules changes/enforcement, and 3)the media's obsession with Johnny Douchebag.
That's pretty much how I see it in a nutshell.
