Unhealthy obsession? I don't want to see our division rival get better. If plugging their first base hole was down to EE or Joey Gallo, I'd rather them go with the more strikeout prone Chris Carter.

Well I'd say at the very best we are behind Boston and Cleveland in terms of odds for an AL pennant. Both are going to be better on paper than last year

And honestly Texas deserves to be ahead of us until we prove we can beat them

I preferred him to Beltran. At 3/60, I really wish we had gotten him.

I agree. I didn't want to get him for 5 years, but at that contract I would much prefer him over cb. I like Carlos just would be hard to beat a 3 for 60

Astros Future did a story on Drew Ferguson. I know some of y'all aren't fans of the cat who runs the site, but I had no idea about this guy and he's moving through the system at a nice pace. It'll be interesting to see how he handles a full year in Corpus as opposed to the launching pad.
