Realizing that batting average is an obsolete stat, nevertheless, it's astonishing how productive the Astro O is with such dismal averages across the board.

it was obviously intentional

Would like to know how you can tell it was intentional with a slider, in a 1-2 count, on the 4th or 5th pitch of the AB, with two outs in the 8th inning of a one run game?

Homer, BB or K

This is almost literally true. A single is almost as rare as a triple for these two.

Neshek doesn't throw in, often, if at all. That's HBP #1 for him this year. Astros two best players are hit. Herrera not only hit Altuve but he was up and in on Gattis as well. Doesn't help that he's a douchebag either.

That was on purpose.

AJ said post game he expects him to hit the DL.

I'm just hoping nothing is broken and it is simply time off to heal a nasty contusion.

I don't think it was on purpose, but if it was, good. It didn't end up hurting is in the game, and the Royals hit 2 of our star players up and in. They've been a team full of shithead pitchers all year. McCullers needs to deposit one in Lorenzo Cain's rig cage if he pitches against them in our next series.

I'm really scared about this injury with Springer. He's somebody we can't afford to lose for a month or longer.

This same thing ended Bagwell's MVP season, just happened to come at a lucky time with the strike.

That is one of the worst place to get hit ...those bones are small and not a lot of meat around that area. I think best case he has a really bad contusion and is out 15 days and worst and most likely case he is out 5 or 6 weeks with a fracture

Yeah this sick as and I think lunhow has to think about acquiring a Reddick or someone like that at this point. We can't make it through July with the lineup you will see this weekend
