Would be nice if we got a starter through the 6th for a change.

ETA: Bryant is going to destroy us this series I have a feeling

I will be happy with a competitive weekend where we atleast have a chance to win 2. Going to be a kind of weekend.

Driving down tomorrow and with the LSU game and tickets to Bears/Texans sandwiched in between the Cubbies on Saturday and Sunday I imagine this will be me Monday morning when I call the wife:

If last year's Dodger series taught me anything, expect a No Hitter from Fiers on Sunday and somehow a series win unexpectedly.

ETA: All week leading up to that series I fully expected a No Hitter thrown, but was not expecting it from the Stros.

Lifelong fan of both teams, not sure what I'm going to wear to these games.

This is the very reason why when I was a kid I couldn't stand the cubs. Being in the same division and having to see the stadium overrun with cubs fans multiple times a year sucks.

It's not that I necessarily hate the cubs or their fans, it's just when the away teams fans come out in droves and take up so much of the stadium it ticks me off. Same reason I can't stand the Yankees, Red Sox, and Cardinals (there are many other reasons for this one) as well.

And most of them aren't even fans unless they're good. You think these people paid for MLB TV to watch [or even just listen to] Cubs games 2 years ago when they weren't good? I seriously doubt it.

I lived through 10 years of torment for my "DisAstros" that I caught constant hell for. These fans appear just as fast as they disappear and that's why I can't stand Red Sox, Yankees, or Cubs. shite I even have 3 family members claiming their fandom for life again when I know they haven't thought about them for 5 years prior to September of last year.

ETA: I can't wait to see how these guys choke it away this year.
