I agree about one game at a time. I was answering Shane’s question about whether it was mathematically possible to have things wrapped up before Saturday and reset the rotation.
I expect this to go down to the last day. Happy about last night but this team can’t be trusted.

Let’s hope the orioles lose and the rays are still trying to win the division so that they can compete against the blue jays in the final 3 games. And the Yankees have the blue jays tonight through Thursday so we could get some help from them and the Rays. An amazing scenario would be to win out and have the mariners beat up Texas to the point of wining the division….yet somehow the mariners still miss the playoffs.

2nd time I've posted an 8 man lineup recently. I'm finishing as strong as the team.
Chas is in centerfield. Never thought I'd say this but our best lineup has Dubonaroo in CF. He's hitting close to .330 over the last 2 months. Diaz at C, Dubon CF, Yed DH.

Chas is a better hitter than Bregman. Chas either hits it hard or strikes out. Bregman either Ks, flies out or GIDP because he’s slow. I’d play dubon at third for a few games and Chas in center.

Poetically, Pena hasn't homered since the Nixon administration while we've got a minor league shortstop who just claimed minor league home run title this year with 35. He also hit .240 and struck out 178 times. So do with that what you will

I’m a proponent of 8 team divisions once the league goes to 32. If both expansions were in the East it would work awfully easy.
