Fair enough my real dream thats attainable is someone like Inciarte on the braves to play CF and leadoff and put george in RF. What do you realistically think it would take to get someone like that. I cant see the braves really paying up to keep him soon, hes a great leadoff man and young.

I don't think we'd trade for an outfielder when that's the strength this year in free agency. Trading for top starting pitching is what makes sense. We could sign Desmond and stick him in CF. We could sign Reddick and move George to CF. There are a bunch of options fortunately.

George has been around a .360 OBP guy the past two seasons, making him a good leadoff guy. He'd be much better if he would figure out how to be a better base stealer.

I definitely feel like there were 3-4 wins we left sitting out there because of his mismanagement of the pitching staff.

Devenski is such a stud, we've lucked out with him this year. He's been a godsend. Realistically what would it take to land Sale, he's completely out of favor with the Sox management.

I would also add he's too committed to metrics and not nearly enough on instincts. I'm extremely tired of us getting beat on the shift.

As much as I can complain about Hinch, I don't blame him for the shifts. That strategy comes from the front office, and any manager we have from now on will have to do it the same way with Luhnow in charge.

I need to see some kind of change though. If it's replacing Hudgens, I guess I'll settle for that. If we repeat this performance next year, Hinch has to go.

tyler white is just useless, 1B is the easiest position to find production I cant believe we keep trotting him out there

Its a shame the Barves are probably going to try to build a competent team for the new ballpark next year instead of sucking for a few more years.

I'd love to pry Markakis from them. He's signed for 2 more years 11 million each year in his age 33 and 34 seasons.

His line this year .273/.347 38 doubles 12HR 86 RBI. I think he'd be a perfect addition. But I'd imagine the Braves would rather hold onto him.

LF Markakis
3B Bregman
2B Altuve
SS Correa
1B Yuli
RF Springer
DH Gattis/?
CF ?
C Gattis/

Injuries in the second half will be used as this year's excuse (and April will be conveniently ignored) when the same staff comes back next year.

But of they handle trades and free agency right, the staff won't be a big deal (until maybe the playoffs).

Or just sign Jon Jay. Similar player who would be freakin' perfect as an versatile outfielder who bats left-handed.

Gimme Jay and either Encarnacion or Beltran. Let Teo/Jake/Kemp battle it out for the other OF at bats. Play Yuli at first and Bregs at 3B.

If Reed is not traded and forces his way into the lineup, Yuli can play LF.

Even Luhnow has floated the balloon about Altuve in CF. That would be for Kemp, but I don't imagine that happens. Tony can play LF or DH though.

Luhnow said this is definitely not happening (tonight) at this stage of his career
