Feels like its gonna be a long night of a swinging over 2 strike change ups that aren't close to being strikes.

Musgrove looks like he's gained about 20 pounds

Give it up Bob. Its nearly 10 pm in Houston and your team is 66-84. You're wasting the time of everyone who this game matters to. 66-84 Bob Melvin is playing this game under protest.

I missed the swing but I believe Jake sent a shallow pop toward 1st with Teo on 1st base.

From there, Alonso made a near catch on the ball but it did hit the ground. Teo was fooled and went back to first. Alonso made a tag play on a diving Jake who was ruled safe. Teo then stepped off the bag and was tagged out.

The play was reviewed, Jake was ruled to have been tagged out. Out call on Teo was overturned and he was put back on first base.

Melvin protested the game after that call.

man outside of our 1-4 hitters we have no threats in this lineup, reminds me of our 2005 world series team.

Nah, we pretty much had Berkman, and that was it.

And as weak as our bottom is, it can't touch the suck age of Adam Everett

I dont know if you remember jason lane, willy taveras, chris burke, brad ausmus, adam everett, and a pitcher batting everynight, lol it was 3 on 9 and we still went to the series. Wasnt roger clemens ERA sub 2 that year and he still could barely get over .500 what a trainwreck that lineup was and this is damne close outside of correa, altuve, springer, gurriel now

Altuve has swung himself right out of the MVP race and his struggles have probably doomed our playoff hopes over the last month. Dude has gone from .365 to under .340

I remember all of them, and you can throw in Ensberg.

But, Altuve and Correa, with a little Springer, on top of a C near .250 w 28 dongs would have won that '05 Series w that pitching staff.

We lost all 4 games in last AB and I was at every game.

Including tonights 0-3 (so far), Altuve is hitting an even .200 over the last 28 games which dates back to August 21st.
