I'm hitting the panic button. Lose tonight and that'll be 6 of last eight. Bullpen sucks. Team mentality is shaky. Fans are booing. I don't know.

Relax Francis. We were due to have a bad road trip. Yes the bullpen sucks. Yes the starters aren't delivering. Yes the hitters are not coming thru, but tomorrow is a new day, and we will turn it around. I'm n.

I was told I was crazy but I really don't think I am. We need to start liriano (or Martes or musgrove) and put GOATcock back in the pen. Having him hold down what leads we get right now is more valuable than him going 5 innings and then it getting blown by the pen

I feel like Devo is having mechanical issues or is tipping his pitches or something.

He's pitched over 150 innings last 2 years, there's been a book on him already, that can't be the problem

He was like a top 40 prospect in baseball before last year. Should they have not given him a chance?

Idk, I'm just a fan, but he's been terrible on the regular squad in the amount he's played.

692 home runs sitting on the bench but sure, AJ Reed is good enough to hit for himself in that situation.

I'm just keeping up on gameday but Colome is going away, away, away away. Redick and Reed both pulled outside away pitches on the ground to first.

It was noticeable the difference in the quality of at bats between altuve, Bergman, and yuli compared to the garbage at the bottom. Each of those top 3 guys made swings to put balls in play based on where they were pitched.

Big disappointment lately has been Marwin. Dudes body language makes him look annoyed and uninterested.

We have no advantage at home because we accommodate our opponents' strength by pitching to it. The two balls Souza hit hard were inside. Why? He tattooed the first one to the Crawford boxes. Why get a second in the same spot?

Just stupid. It's like our pitchers don't know the dimensions of our own park. Meanwhile, the other team's staff knows exactly how to pitch in this park. You pitch away to pull happy hitters and we oblige by rolling over weakly on balls. Just stupid. The approach is so contrasting from road to home it's ridiculous.

Jankowski down, Home Run Hoyt is back. Altuve gets a day off tomorrow.

Cool.

In their last 50 games, the Astros' bullpen has a 5.63 ERA, .248 average against, 1.33 WHIP.

50 games. 50 games and Luhnow only added Francisco Liriano.

Pretty telling stats. Don't understand how anyone can downplay those numbers. That's almost a third of the season and those numbers don't appear to be getting better.
