There's a reason these guys live in the minors. They can't get it done in the majors.

Franchise is cursed. I'm accepting it now.

Here lies the 2017 Astros. April 2017-July 2017.

We had a good run

This game is frustrating but I'm not concerned at all about the offense going forward. When everyone is healthy it's a machine

Are you expecting them to be up in the playoffs? Serious question

Marwin has been arse tonight but we took the bat out of one of our best hitters in favor of old arse Beltran or a AAAA catcher. The bunt also free'd up a base to put Beltran on and guarantee Shitty Stassi hit.

It's been like that since the allstar break. The 2016 astros have shown up (automatic outs). What a shame.

Who should we be able to pull out of the minors when both of our catchers go on the DL?

You can't plan for this kind of shite.

No movement lol Kintzler has one of the better sinkers and the highest GB rate of all bullpen arms in baseball and was doing a great job of running it in on Stassi, but the first 1-2 pitch I believe was super hittable. 95 and it was up but he couldn't get a barrel to it. Max had no shot of driving a pitch there best case would have been a strike out.

I'm not a big anti-Hinch guy but damn I thought that was awful managing. Let Marwin try and drive the ball

Yeah he had to see they would walk Beltran. Should have let Marwin hit

In one aspect I feel for these young players. They know how dominant the lineup was before the injuries hit and now this.

I was expecting White to stay up and Davis to be sent back down.

But probably due to monetary issues, it was cheaper to keep Davis up.

Hopefully, none of our hopeful playoff roster has incentives that kick in for the playoffs.

Truthfully, our best chance in postseason is to have best record in AL, but that looks less likely by the game.

We will be lucky to keep the division.

Would have been a decent time to get cute and double hit and run or something especially considering the frequency of Kintzler throwing a ground ball and Marwin being a good contact hitter. Especially after ball 1 take a pitch and then start some action.

Cmon 9-1-2 to walk it off let's go

If we lose the best record in the AL, that would be an epic collapse.

Hit and run with the bases loaded and 1 out. 2 strike count against your 3rd string catcher. Bold strategy

I'm not arguing Kintzler's effectiveness, but those pitches were flat and hittable.

He was overmatched by 3-0 FBs that were 92-93
