Cleveland was going to be giving up their #4, 10, 20 and 29 prospects on MLB.com

They were a catcher, SS, SP and OF respectively.

So maybe it looks like something like Ted Tucker, Abreu, Jonathan Arauz and Jason Martin? I think I could deal with that

I'm not sure exactly what they expect for a 39 yr old DH rental. Moran/Fisher? 1 lotto ticket pitcher?

I wouldn't think it's a lot but who knows. There hasn't been a ton of chatter about him and he would be an asset to basically every AL team still contending

With current OF problems and Springer projected to leave, losing Tucker would hurt. Offer them Dez and I feel better about it

I would guess we could throw in Castro too, otherwise what are we gonna do with 3 catchers on the roster?

Why is Springer projected to leave?

Oh wait a Crane/Ludlow thing, nevermind, carry on.

Milwaukee has zero use for Castro since he's a free agent. Maybe you work a third team in and deal him to a contender. Or maybe Gattis goes somewhere. It would create a logjam on the roster though

A realistic trade package for sale that would hurt a great deal, but not include breg.

Reed
Martes
Ted Tucker
Cameron
Hoyt
Moran
McHugh or fiers

That would be 3 top 70 prospects and some solid add ins.

I would stand pat. This team won't win anything and sale doesn't move the needle enough to win the WS. Probably not enough to win the wc

Interesting. I wonder what the plan is for the roster if we dealt for a catcher because you have a good point. It would be tough to carry Gattis and Castro with a new catcher who's getting 2/3's of the starts. Maybe if you do send Castro back and kick in some money to cover what he's owed for the rest of the year someone would take him

Castro isn't nearly as hated by the other teams as he is by us. A team will want him.

Bregman has gone from untouchable to expendable in one week? Screw that.

After "crowning" Reed all year, he gets called up and these guys gave up on him within a week. Why are you surprised?

If anyone isn't hitting .300 and 6 bombs in a week, they're expendable. Everyone has to be Trout, otherwise, Luhnow is a terrible.

I see Chicken Little Ryno is in rare form today.

I'll go ahead and stay far away from these threads. Read through these first 3 pages and if you didn't know any better, the Astros are battling for the cellar.

Saying you would trade him in a package for one of the best starting pitchers in baseball is a little different than saying he's expendable.

The guys rumored to be discussed from the Dodgers standpoint include Julio Urias and Cody Bellinger

I agree. I wish him the best. Luhnow did a good job in landing him and an inside shot at his brother.
