Also a deal for someone like Sale or Lucroy isn't just for this year. Similar to trading for Hamels last year, that's a move for the next couple seasons. So it doesn't really matter if you consider us "out of it"

That's only way I would want to trade Bregman. No other player that's been mentioned in trade talks this deadline would justify trading him at all

It would be worth it just because we would never have to hear Lester Earl say "The Astros don't have an ace," for at least three more seasons

Looking at what Cleveland was going to give up I think I would be okay with a Lucroy deal. He makes our lineup much better and is more than just a deal for this year.
