Unfortunately deGrom has been LIGHTS OUT the last month or so. No chance we get him without giving up Tucker
I prefer whichever move let's us keep Tucker
Gray and Doolittle would be awesome. And Beane seems like the type that could accept a Tuckerless and Whitleyless package
I think it's also time to start rediscussing Toronto as a seller (although not sure we'd be good trade partners with them), Blue Jays, ChiSox, Detroit, and Oakland are the only AL teams more than 3 games out of the wild card
As for the NL, it's about the complete opposite. Cubs are in 3rd in wild card hunt and are 7 games back from the 2nd spot

I'd assume we would probably add the fastest baserunner on our 40 man not currently on the roster to that list

I think having a third catcher would be a must so you can freely PH Gattis. I dunno on the 14th honestly. Maybe we would go to 12 pitchers, who knows.

Wonder what a Cole/McCutchen package would cost. Cutch is single handedly killing the Phils today and is up to ~.290. He really seems to have resolved his 2016 issues. He still has a year left on his deal and would cost about the same as what we're paying Reddick.

Different dynamic because of Verlander's salary. How much of it is Detroit going to pay? No way to know how two sides will deal with that.
