Is Lance or Martes scheduled for Thursday?

If Sunday is TBA, does that indicate one of the 2 I mentioned won't pitch til after the ASB?

I'm guessing it's Peacock on Sunday

Looks like the rotation may be:

Today: Peacock
Wed: Musgrove
Thurs: LMJ
Fri: Morton
Sat: Fiers
Sun: Peacock

I don't know what they'll do with Martes but they may have him as the long man this week.

Dropping him makes sense if you're contending. This braves will go no where.

I'm still dreaming in DeGrom. Tampa needs to start losing some games if we want Archer to be available

One small problem. Tampa is in the second wild card spot right now, and they may just be the favorite to get it. They aren't trading Archer.

Of the starters we know to be truly available I like Gray the most. I would be all for a Doolittle/Gray combo even if it's expensive

I can't think of a deal that would make more sense. I dream of Fisher/Musgrove/F. Perez headlining the deal to get it done.

Hinch said he hopes Dallas Keuchel can pitch off the mound this weekend in Toronto, which would set him in motion for a rehab start.

A's probably want more outfielders. Throw in Daz and/or Laureano and call it a deal

ETA: Daz is still young/raw enough that I can see teams still coveting that skill set

Personally, I like it. It'll be interesting to see if it changes the approach to Springer knowing Altuve is behind him. (Not that Reddick is a slouch)

Are you suggesting that George needs to change his approach? I think he's done really well at cutting down his ridiculous two-strike hack. Also, Reddick has been invaluable as a table setter lately. I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it if it's just for this game. If for more, I have to ask why you're messing with an order that's leading the league in practically every offensive statistic.

Collin McHugh makes his second rehab start in Double A tomorrow. He's slated for around 3 IP, up to 50 pitches.

If we were to go to 11 pitchers in the postseason (assuming everyone besides Jabroni is healthy) is this what would be looking at?

DK
McCullers
Gray
Morton

Peacock
Fiers
Devo
Gregerson
Doolittle
Harris
Giles

I would ideally want to upgrade Gregerson to a better RHP but that may be asking too much.

I think he's saying George may get better pitches to hit

I'm still really skeptical of sending a bunch of our young talent to a division foe.

Nice 11. Who are the other 14?

Current 12 regulars:

Altuve
Correa
Springer
Reddick
Marisnick
McCann
Gattis
Gurriel
Bregman
Marwin
Aoki
Beltran

That's where perhaps getting a rental bat comes into the picture (assuming Fisher is traded). Maybe give Centeno and Stassi lots of September playing time to battle for the final spot (so Hinch can comfortably DH Gattis versus lefties).

It's interesting that you listed every player by their last name except for Marwin.
