why do you guys want to trade Cosart? you ain't going to get shite for him.

I say let him develop. his ground ball rate is good and that plays in this park. he can be a solid 3-4 guy and eventually could be a closer if that does't work out.

their lineup is deadly already. they won't miss much of a beat plugging in Gomes for Yoens. Now their pitching is DEEEP

yep I don't have a ton of faith that we really have top pitching prospects that are closer then two years away from Houston. not sold on Folty as a starter yet I think he ultimately ends up being a strong 8th inning guy or closer. Tropeano, buchanan? Wojo? too many questions marks.

Only starter I would trade would be Feldman. I would give peacock away but nobody will want him.

For me at least he comes off as a dick. No other reason really, this is probably a good example as to why I am not a baseball GM.

This. And hes not that special. Returns wont be much but hes just a self absorbed douche. I can see him being universally hated in the clubhouse. Would bet just about anything that he was the only one crying to Ortiz about Appel.

If he gets traded and Ortiz starts his Losenow shite on twitter, it will further prove it.

Am I going too far here? I just hate that guy.

I think everyone hates him, and honestly I don't see him projecting well on the field down the line. I don't know the stats off the top of my head far as WHIP and shite but it seems like he's always playing with fire on the mound. Falling behind hitters, walking the lead off guy, walking a guy with no one on and 2 out, basic shite like that which you learn not to do in little league.

I just feel like it's going to catch up with him at some point and he will implode because he's a head case. Sell high IMO if someone will give up something substantial

I wonder what they are honestly looking for in return. On one hand he's 24 and controllable for a while but he's also a raging douche that will probably rub every vet on a contender the wrong way

Yeah, I'm intrigued.

I've been looking through some general Cosart tweets on twitter form Astros fans. The fans seem real split. Half the fans saying get him out of here. Other are saying don't trade him, he has a lot of room for growth and could develop into a great pitcher.

I'm split myself as evidenced by my posts in this thread if they can get some ML-ready pieces I would be for it. I don't want them to deal him for guys who are 4 years out from the majors or for some spare parts.

I'm not sold on trading Cosart. I guess I can see it if he's a bitch in the clubhouse and everyone hates him. But he's also 24 years old (which means likely to grow up) and pitching well enough to he a BoR starter. If we trade him for some shite equal to Robbie Grossman and LJ How's, I'll be pissed.

I keep trying to ask in the live ESPN chat what they think the asking price is for Cosart but they never answer. Crasnick did say the Orioles were working with the Astros but they weren't close currently

We don't need to be getting rid of Cosart.

If he's got an attitude, hire a manager that will contain his attitude.
