The Astros enter the day 3 games back in the division and 0.5 behind Boston for the second wild card. Hopefully they can start the series on the right foot tonight with a Fiers vs Verlander matchup on deck for tomorrow.
I think we covered most topics yesterday so today is an open forum until we move into the pregame / game / post game portion of the program.

Fiers vs. Verlander is terrifying 
Although we've been a slightly better hitting team on the road, the pitching has been quite a bit worse.
Still, our road performance this year is light years better than last year.
33-48 on the road last year
23-25 on the road so far this year

I'd take that every time from every starter. You give up 2 er in 6 innings and turn it over to the bp, we will win a bunch of games.

Cosart will eventually be a good pitcher. Too much talent. I see him as one of those guys who finally gains maturity and flourishes later similar to curt shilling. SD is a great park for him.

Keep giving up 9 or 10 hits and a couple walks in 6 innings and you gonna lose a lot of games.
