Damn the Royals are going all in.

Well damn.

Luhnow is going to either over-pay for Hamels or over-pay for Samardzija.

Who ya'll want?

I'll take Hamels please. I don't want to have to reset the rotation after the season. I like the Astros chances of re-signing Kazmir. Get Hamels for a couple more years... things will be set just right for the next few seasons.

Oh, and when Hamel's contract expires... guess who is going to be ready for a big contract? The best SS in the AL, that's who.

I don't think Luhnow is going to overpay for anyone. And I still don't think Hamels wants to come here. The next few days will be fun/interesting

I have a hunch that Philly is putting the offer deadline as tomorrow so that there are 48 hours to sort things out with Hamels about going to Houston. I bet we have made the best offer they think they will get already.

The AL kings are making big moves whIle lunhow sits around and twiddles thumbs. No wonder people are reporting his seat being hot.

What do the Phillies want?

Todd Zolecky, MLB Phillies Writer: "Bats who hit the ball out of the ballpark. They lack that at both the major and minor league levels."

Getting a couple of their old prospects back might fill that void...

And it's been like, 9 hours or something since Ryno has said something emotionally-charged to entertain us with.

Reed being left out of the top 100 is a joke.

Rosenthal says an unnamed GM texted him suggesting the Astros should trade Jabroni for Jose Bautista and then trade for Ross/Hamels.

Sipp is called into the game in a high-leverage situation, and they bring Trout in to pinch hitter. We turn off the TV and curl up into balls to cry.
