It was worth bringing him up. They had to see what he was capable of and if he could help the team down the stretch. It was good experience for him too

Astros future is saying Bregs is coming up. Question is whether there is actually a 2nd move being made or if Tags was blowing smoke. Worth is definitely a candidate to come off the 40 man...

I hate that for Reed. But when you're in a playoff chase you can't always afford to let a rookie work through his struggles. Particularly when we don't have a strong offense pulling their own weight. But now he knows the areas he needs to improve and if he's still in the system, he's likely got a job in Houston next year.
If Bregman comes up, that shifts Val to first. With Reed gone, we need a DH. It's got to be either White or Tucker. Both are swinging it well in AAA. My guess is Tucker. He's been crushing AAA pitching and has more MLB success than White.
