Yes, and none of this is taking into account possible deals. On BBTN last night Bowden (old Reds GM) was saying Luhnow is known for his aggressiveness and everything he's heard is that he's exploring every possible deal for every big name. He will absolutely improve this team

If we get Cueto, our rotation alone will keep us in the hunt

DK Cueto and Lance is a premier top 3, might be second best to the Nats honestly

And if Jabroni keeps being Good Jabroni, that's 4 out of every 5 games that I like our chances against anyone

Keuchel is a flat out stud. McCullers is a future ACE, and will demand a large paycheck. Lock that baw up.

I think LUnhow has to go for a legit bat along with a SP right now. this team won't survive 2 months without Springer. We have the farm system. I would be willing to trade anyone aside from Phillips/Reed at this point.

Just came across some Correa/Bregman pictures to help fill those jizz jars.

my jizz jars are filled with tears today…this doesn't help.

quote:
"We're just going to have to rely on the depth internally. And if it's not there, we'll go out and solve it externally," Luhnow said. "Springer's going to be a part of our team for a long time to come, so it's not like we would go out and look to replace him. If we're talking about replacing his production for six weeks or a little longer, we're going to have to look at it.
"We have enough options where we should be able to get some decent production. But if we feel like that's not happening, we certainly will explore other alternatives.
this is encouraging. looks like this road trip is audition time for Santana/Tucker/Marisnick to show they can contribute enough….I think if they become a black hole in the next 11 days Lunhow isn't afraid to dial up a trade. we could use another OF anyway. Not sounding like Kemp is being considered at this point.

Didn't realize Todd Frazier is 29. I was thinking he was like 26. So he's beyond his prime and Cincy may be looking at a couple years rebuild. I wonder if theyd look at trying to cash in on him.

Kazmir 7 shutout innings again the mariners....7k....just saying.....if they would deal us Redick right now you have to pull the trig.

They're gonna do a status check on Springer in 2 weeks. If he's not progressing fast, you gotta move forward with that combo deal.
If the 2 week check is promising for George, then just go after Kazmir or Cueto

Harold Reynolds thinks Springer was ''our team'' and we're done.
Byrnes and the other guy disagreed.
That's all I got right now.

Stats don't tell the whole story. It was bad. Strikeouts saved him several times he started off the game with 3 singles a K then double play. Most of the hits after that were for extra bases. It's better than the first but still really bad
