I mentioned yesterday I'm flying up to KC for the series cause my college roommate is from there

I'm prepared to give a standing ovation after we drill Mouse/Hosmer/Gordon/Perez and then promptly get my arse beat

Hope we don't even try to be sneaky about it. frickin name Josh Fields the starter, let him do the deed and get tossed, then have our normal starter in the bullpen ready to go

I mean I understand everyone is pissed but it wasn't on purpose. I know there's no place for logic right now though

I like the Reddick Kazmir combo

The DAT bloodlust is real right now. I wouldn't feel this way if it weren't the Royals, who have developed a reputation

Alright, alright.

Now, we get back to talking baseball and save the hate for the 24th.

The chance is real for Santana now. He should play a bunch. I assume he will be the everyday right fielder. It can only help him grow, unless we are trading his arse, of course.

Maybe we will trade for Samardjia and he'll get to fight these motherfrickers twice

Ok, situation analysis time:

We are @Boston, Cleveland and TB before the break. The first 2 series are against bad teams, and the Rays offense has been shite recently against good pitching.

Angels are @ Texas, Colorado and Seattle. Not great teams, but the Angels are a bad road team

Texas has LA, Arizona and SD coming to Arlington. But Texas is a fluke. If we have 2 more good trips through the rotation, we should still be 5 games up at the break.

We will survive this

It sucks but we can easily get through this. If Springer misses 50 games and they go, say, 22-28, that puts them at 69-62. That will easily be in the thick of the race for a spot if not still leading the division by a few games. The way their attitude has been all year I fully expect them to respond and fight through it and be better than that record

I just have a gut feeling that young Carlos is going to put the team on his back, with help from some of the other young guys
