It's not abysmal
We are a half game out of first place with two of our best hitters on the DL.
This team is above all expectations. The fact we are competing is something. I have no interest in getting rid of Maverick, Reed, Appel and company just to get bounced in the first round.

If "and company" does not include Santana, Singleton and perhaps even VV, that likely won't be a problem.

Ehh, I suspect Fisher is for sale since Maverick should not be. Or perhaps Jason Martin. Clearly, Kemp and Hoes are for sale. They'd trade big Tucker for the right outfield bat, but I hope not.
