I feel like we've faced 70% lefties over the last month or so

Well Overton has been bad in his 2 starts, 11+ ERA, Walked 5, Struck out 4.

Which means he'll go 7IP, 0R, 0BB, 9K's tonight.

Overton is an OU guy so I'm sure he'll do great the time he's facing my favorite team

Alright its time to bounce back. Dallas will continue his string of good starts and springer is gonna catch fire again.

I thought about the Fiers thing and realized why he flipped out. He knows his days as a starter or even a member of this team are numbered. He hears the trade rumors and then his GM say they are looking at starting pitching. But Mike didn't help his cause at all last night.

I just want one more competent starter. Hopefully Musgrove can be that guy. Fiers is so inconsistent, throws 6 scoreless one start then 2 straight starts of 4+ runs and not being able to make it through 4.

I had finally come to think Fiers was going to be a good and stable option and the last two starts he has flipped the F out.

If we don't get another starter in a trade, I bet we deal Fiers this month and move Feldman to the 5th starter. If we can deal Neshek as well, that makes room for Hoyt and another lefty.

I like Musgrove a lot as a prospect, but right now for the rest of the year I want to add a guy who can consistently work deep into games. Jabroni and McCullers haven't inspired a lot of confidence lately in that department either and we know they aren't going anywhere. I want another vet who can limit the workload of the pen.

Yeah, too bad the market for pitchers is insane. San Fran looks pretty smart for paying Cueto all that money.

As long as Devo, Feldman, and Feliz are in the pen, I'm not really concerned about workload.

Springer defines streakiness. At years end he'll have respectable overall numbers but they'll be built by a month of .350 here and a month of .200 there.

BTW we've lost 3 of 5 recent games vs the shitty A's. When the schedule gives you breaks like them, you've got to take advantage.

That team always gives us trouble. When we were shitty and now when we are decent/good.

He'll always be streaky I guess. George gets swing from his heels pull happy. But despite the fact Marwin is playing solid ball, I think he could use a better bat behind him in the order.

Ashby has made it on the radar of a website made for him.

“Thanks Julia. By the way, did you guys notice how blue Julia’s eyes looked right there? Come on Julia, flash them again.”

I was DVRing through the game so I missed this. Wow. Creepy McCreeperton there. That is way beyond his normal level
