The Astros have played well recently, winning 11 of 13 since being swept by the Rangers at home, and are only 2 games under .500 after sweeping Oakland. They will try to take it on the road in the first of a 4 game series and 9 game road trip.

Houston has lost what seems like 78 consecutive games in Arlington, and the pitching matchups don't look good for the Astros over the next few days. It's Fiers against Lewis tonight.

If we split, I'll be ecstatic.

Hopefully we can solve the Astro killer Colby Lewis.

If we keep swinging it like we have lately, they've got a chance, even if the pitching is so-so

If Keuchel gets things straight, Hamels is quite beatable. I have tickets to that game (Tuesday).

I can't stomach another consecutive loss to this team.

Please let's whip some arse tonight.

I honestly think it we can't solve our problem for man tits owning us tonight then we may get swept again. I'm typically too optimistic and positive but the rangers have earned the right for me to have no hope with the way they've played against us the last ~20 times

The good news for the Astros:
The team is heating up, as well as the bats. This is the time of year balls should start jumping off the bats in Arlington. Hamels & Lewis have struggled a little at home this year. Yu is at the point of his comeback a lot of pitchers struggle before before settling into a groove. Prince is terrible. He's sat the last 2 games, so I assume he'll play at least 3 of the 4 games.

The bad news:
The Rangers are just as hot as the Astros. They have a 21-9 record at home. The back end of their bullpen appears to have settled into a groove after struggling the first couple of months.

At this point, 1 win will make me happy.

What time will SirWinston enter the thread talking about how he bet big on the Rangers? I love it when the Astros make him lose his old lady's liposuction money.

I think I saw he was 10-1 with a Sub 2.5 ERA against us in his career

Yet the Astros are favored today. I can't figure it out.
