Luis plays incredible.defense at 3b. Him hitting 2nd against righties may be a huge boost for him. See more fastballs.

2 hole will be a great spot for Bregman when he's a regular in our lineup next season.

Reed doesn't look ready to me. He had deer in headlights look last night. Bad swings and taking fb right down the cock.

He's struggled every time he gets to a new level so this isn't surprising to me. I think he will be fine in the long run.

Let him see what he can do this year first. He's earned a shot, especially if he continues to look good while in AAA.

I disagree. Last night he was pressing... Definitely had the look of a frustrated kid in the last AB. But I've liked the look of most of his plate appearances. I think he'll turn it on. He just has to get past the frustration he's going through right now.

Everytime I see him I feel sorry for his momma... Seriously, I bet she had to make 3 pans of biscuits every morning to keep that big hoss happy.

I heard a scout from Project 15 on an Astros podcast say he felt Reed was not ready. His AB against the lefty last night taking two pitches down the middle was not encouraging.

That said, now is the time to play him to see both where he stands now and if you need to deal for first base help.

Alright....so 3 games in and he's not ready. I mean he's got all sorts of time now to adjust to MLB pitching. 3 games is enough, don't you think?

Talk about predictable. Anyone who didn't see you melting and throwing your hands up in surrender is blind.

Send him back down to AA.

He looked lost last night. Nobody is melting...nobody is calling for him to be sent down.

His eyes were a problem. Looked like giant beach balls. Maybe he was on drugs.

He really needed one of those balls that he hit well in that first game to drop in. He's starting to press now because he's 0fer. His approach looked great in that first game. They need to keep giving him ABs and let him know he's not going to be punished on a small sample size

His at bats the last 2 games have been ugly. 0/8 with 6 strikeouts. Seems like he's pressing a bit to get in the hit column. In his first game, he was much more patient and took some good swings.

ETA: Shane beat me to it.

Ok, so before call-up.....

We want Reed. Can't wait for Reed to get here! Yay Reed! Let's go Reed! Crown him!

3 games in....no hits...

Send him back down. He's not worth it. Can't wait for him to learn....
