You are ready for a lineup with white in it?

No but we all know he will be in that lineup bc of Correa and Diaz being out. Obviously I prefer anyone else at 1B

Have we heard any updates on Diaz since they said he had a setback?

I know Straw was working on SS in the minors... can't we try out 1B Yuli, 2B Altuve, SS Straw, 3B Bregman for a bit?

I think Straw would be a great 9-hole hitter.

Now that it seems pretty clear the Mets are going to be sellers, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Astros do with Syndergaard or Wheeler or especially Seth Lugo. Good times.

Thor would be the most exciting trade candidate on the pitching market if they make him available even with the year he’s had.

Wheeler should be very available since he’s a FA after this year and he’s struggled this season. He has dynamite stuff and I think the Astros could do wonders with him and he would be much cheaper than Thor. Would love either of those two or Lugo.

Lugo Thor both have plenty of control.

Will be costly but if you get that done you are the favorite for the WS.

Verlander cole Thor

Lugo pressly osuna

Astros can't give up tucker for a rental they have to get pitchers with some control because they have very little proven pitching under contract. Verlander and Lance are it next season.

They wouldn’t need to give up Tucker to get Wheeler

Would for Thor. Or whitley. It would take one of them.

If I weren’t lazy, I’d look up your posts about Tucker not being a premium trade piece and he’s lost his value and no one would want him.

For Thor I agree. Wheeler would be much cheaper to acquire since he’s a rental, and I think there’s still going to be a question on whether the Mets will deal Thor because it’s the Mets. I’m not advocating either one because I think our front office/Strom could do wonders with both.
