Prob the most frustrating game of the year last night

- Could not do shite with runners on base
- Terrible fielding and baserunning errors
- Atrocious umpiring
- El Campo Tiger forgets to start the thread

Let's get things rolling again with a west coast trip in Oakland where weird shite always happens. And no, I have no idea who the F this dude is that's pitching for Oakland

Also if this was posted already I apologize but it definitely qualifies as good news

Astros manager A.J. Hinch announced Saturday that righty Lance McCullers will come off the DL during the upcoming week (via Brian McTaggart of MLB.com). McCullers just hit the DL on Monday with discomfort in his lower back, so his stay will end up as a short one. He’s one of four Astros starters on the DL – Dallas Keuchel, Charlie Morton and Collin McHugh are the others – and arguably the best of the bunch. McCullers has been superb over his first 76 2/3 innings this season, having posted a 2.58 ERA, 10.45 K/9, 2.7 BB/9 and a 63 percent ground-ball rate. His teammate Morton, out since May 25 with a lat strain, also seems to be progressing toward a return. Morton is set to make a two-inning rehab start for the Astros’ Triple-A affiliate on Thursday.

Very encouraging about Lance Morton and even Jabroni (still hesitant about him pitching for us at all this year)

Have I missed any official word on Keuchel's status or has it just been vague info about his progress?

Clutch west coast game tonight since the Tigers try to pound that Beaver early in the evening

The fact that we win any games with this current AAA rotation is a feat to be proud of.

I think we should by low on Quintana. He has 4 years of track record so I give him a mulligan for this season

I agree. Should have won that game and series at home against a likely playoff team, but we completely fricked it up with MANY missed opportunities. Good thing we are on the road now against the worst team in our division, since we are unbeatable on the road.

I was also wondering why no one started a thread for yesterday.

Hinch said yesterday that McHugh was headed down to Florida soon to start his spring training

I think El Campo should be exiled for a week.

There should be consequences

One of the DAT'ers requested a lengthy apology and, while I will say that I am sorry for not posting a DAT yesterday, I do not believe a lengthy apology is necessary due to the fact that we played the Boston Red Sox on free TV, beat them 7-1, and the DAT WAS ONLY FIVE PAGES!!!!

Five. Pathetic, Astros fans. I don't care if LSU was in the CWS. I don't care if Holly Sonders was offering old fashions in your driveway. I thought the DAT was better than that.

Should've just lied and said there was a personal or family emergency and you would've been off the hook IMO

Listen, I will accept whatever ban you want to issue.

I am still upset the DAT contained only five pages (4.5 really) by game's end.
