Nice double play to get lance out of there without throwing too many pitches.

Never mind

They just aren't consistent enough in any area to really get excited about. This team doesn't do the little things to succeed and that goes for the managers as well.

You know I noticed something in the game we won at Texas. It's a small thing but to me a big difference in why we are where we are. The last out, odor swung and missed on a pitch in the dirt and sprinted to first. Castro threw him out but the throw was a little high and scared me at first that he'd throw it into the outfield. How many of our players would have sprinted to first to cause a hurried throw? Hell, our best player got caught in between 2nd and 3rd and stood there until the shortstop came and tagged him out. Would it have wasted so much energy to run back to second to see if Andrus would have thrown the ball away? Players and managers need to be held accountable for that crap.

Sometimes we're a scrappy team but usually a dumb scrappy team.

Odor hustles and gives 100% every second. That's the only nice thing I'll ever say about him.

But Castro brings the suck so we cannot take advantage of it.
