ETA in defense of Gomez he absolutely stung one directly at Headley yesterday. A couple feet higher and it's a double

He'll have his moments for sure. But GoGo needs to bat 8th versus righties.

And I really hope Gattis is going to catch a good bit because I don't want him taking at bats from Tucker or tKing.

Castro's decent spring didn't translate to the beginning of the year. Not yet, anyway. He's hard for me to watch at the plate. It's like it's a known outcome.

Castro has this loopy shite swing. And for a catcher who should have the feel for an ump's strike zone during a game, he whines like a cat in heat over calls all the time.

In his 101st game, Correa only needs 11 home runs to break Adam Everett's mega franchise record of 35 career homeruns for a shortstop.

In 101 games he's gone .285/.349 22 doubles 1 triple 25HR 72RBI 16SB.

That's a per 162 of 181 hits 35 doubles, 2 triples 40 HR 116 RBI and 26 steals. He's 21 years old. Not bad for the "surprising cheap pick" over Appel and Buxton

A year ahead of where they expected to be and picking Correa first.

Luhnow obviously has no idea what he's doing

I read a lot about Correa leading up to that draft and I was hoping they'd take him although I didn't expect it.

In 2013, I was sold on Bryant. His power and the Crawford boxes I was just reading the 2013 draft thread...It's ok. We all make mistakes sometimes Prom.

Hey guys. I just woke up from hitting my head on an object while jumping for excitement because Houston took Appel

Had Mr. Luhnow hired me as his draft advisor, we'd have Carlos Correa, Kris Bryant and Carlos Rodon. Imagine a lineup with Bryant, Correa, Reed, Springer, Altuve, tKing

The Appel over Bryant thing is going to be one of those big what ifs 10 years from now. I will admit I wanted Appel because I wanted the young pitching help (it was kind of barren at that time) and he seemed like a sure thing to be at least a #2/3

I suspect S.A. becomes the Rangers AAA team while Round Rock returns to Astros hands.

I see his potential as an eventual 7th or 8th inning guy.

No doubt. Nolan has mentioned it before. Ryan-Sanders baseball still owns the Express and the Hooks. Nolans other son Reese is the CEO of the Express. Just makes sense to bring them back home. Well have to do something about their awful uniforms though. There's something off putting about them. Needs more orange
