Another gut wrenching game to watch, but I'm not convinced this will be the Astros we see all season. It's been a tough start with two road series one being in the Bronx and then to come home and face the reigning world series champs. I'm not giving our boys a pass on how the turn outs have been, but we can definitely turn things around and need to do it asap before the lull sets in. Rasmus swining a hot stick. White is coming down to earth but still looking sharp. Altuve doing Altuve things. And hey...Castro is our triples leader right now

Cheers to not making "time to turn it around" a season long trend.

badly need this win to split the series but also get some confidence headed into Detroit series this weekend.

'Tuve really tore the cover off the ball
Correa saw the ball well(F the umps), but just couldnt put it in the right place
Gattis getting primed to overtake Castro ( Hinch)

If Hinch isnt going to sit Springer for a few games, he definitely needs to slide down the lineup. Maybe something like

Altuve
White
Correa
Rasmus
Springer
Tucker
Valbuena
Gomez
Castro

Has Doug's velocity picked back up any? Before he left DC he was throwing a smooth 82/83. I was really disappointed in his 2015 - hope he turns it around for y'all.

Springer needs to get his shite together. He's too good of a player to be pulling off every pitch and flailing at sliders away all night.

Gomez influence.

Go-go needs to go-go. His act has worn extremely thin with me.

I wouldn't mind a lineup change either, but I'd rather swap Rasmus and White in that scenario. Rasmus's speed and contact will be more useful in the two hole, while White's current power and consistency plays well in the four spot for RBIs.

They need to flip flop Springer and Altuve.

George has a completely different mindset when he leads off. He doesn't try to hit for power with every swing when he's at the top of the lineup.

I agree with this. Didn't it happen at some point last season?

I want Devenski over anyone right now in an emergency relief situation.

He was the player to be named later in the Brett Myers deal with White Sox.

Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for not starting out badass. You're really helping us out in Arlington.

As long as the freaking Angels don't win the division, I won't kill myself.

If that happens, the Stros and Rangers will be relegated to the Texas League for '17.

It would be a disaster.

Good luck to you baws today.

It's fun seeing Rasmus play the way he is. First player to ever take the qualifying offer and you can see why he did it. He's having a blast down there. Always like him and I'm happy to see him having success, even if it's to my hated rival
