Eh, I'm sure he's not thrilled. Baseball will humble you. There isn't a player in baseball who doesn't go through slumps.
He will get it together, I have no doubts. This isn't the first time he's slumped and won't be the last.
I wouldn't read too much into it. He just needs to string together a few good games and he'll be fine.

He has been playing fine defensively, esp for not being a natural 1st baseman, but that's not why he is making bank

That was surprising. Battled back professionally from 0-2, even checking his swing on a chase ball, to 3-2
He had to know he wasn't going to get a FB, and still swung at a 58 ft pitch there

I'm waiting for umpires to get virtual reality goggles to call pitches according to the strike zone chart. Cano should already be rung up but let's make Charlie throw 6 more pitches.

Completely changes the half inning and cuts down on how long Morton will be able to stay out there. Second time this game, plus the phantom HBP.
