Yes. Plenty of seats left. Honestly, as a 4th OF jake does what's needed of him. Plays great d. The problem is the manager wants to platoon him. That's not what role he is good at. If you told me we would have a 4th out fielder hit .220 with a handful of HRS and gold glove defense I would take that every time. The problem is when he starts playing as much as a platoon player and not a 4th of.

Yeah late inning defensive sub/pinch runner with some spot starts I think. I like Jake as well, but he's a complete zero at the plate despite what he did yesterday. I think he will be fighting for his roster spot if Fisher or Hernandez hit in the minors

Jake would be ideal if we didn't have to carry 8 relievers. Then we could have one more bat who could spot start while Jake just comes off the bench for pinch running and defense.

Marwin is such a useful player. And I have a feeling he's going to be our defacto everyday 1B again at some point unless a deal is made.
