can't expect much for spare parts like Corpy.

I think they put too much pressure on the kid. His rookie league stats were impressive -- 41+ innings, 42 hits, 0 HRs, 2.83 ERA. Looks like he could be a really solid get for Luhnow.

As an aside, apparently he is Brandon Bostick's cousin. He's been throwing a lot of twitter-love to him the past few of days.

will be interesting to see how the roster looks come opening day. ML lineup should be better than last year for sure. Bullpen has tp be better and Starting pitching should be no worse.

hopefully this translates into more wins.

This is what I think as well. Gattis/Carter at 1B /DH.

Marisnick Rasmus Springer in the OF will be disgusting defensively

Honestly, I consider this more than a low expectation swap. A raw 2nd round RHP that's only 19, with good upside, is a very solid return.

Just put the AAA team in The Woodlands already. Build a stadium and Anadarko can have the naming rights.

i wouldn't mind trading some power hitters for some young pitchers if possible. We have a lot of outfield and 1st base depth in the majors and minors so I think Jeff should do some more trades to get some AA or AAA pitchers. If Appel can get on the right track he could end up being our no.2-3 starter sometimes next year and that would be a huge help

Vogelsong negotiations have slowed. Giants might be back in the lead to sign him.

Yeah, if they lose out on Vogelsong, I see them making a trade with someone. They have been too active this off season to not address SP depth. They need a guaranteed (as much as possible) innings eater so that the stronger BP can actually do work.

Honestly, if they don't sign someone else, I'll be ok with that.

1) There will be quite a few TOR guys on the market next year.

2) I don't think Kuechel and McHugh were flukes last year.

3) I think Olberholtzer is most improved and pitches like a #3 this year and will only improve

Vogel song would actually be a decent signing. They need sp depth....hopefully the deal gets done. If the price gets too high may as well stand pat and wait till next season. They aren't competing for a playoff spot this season anyway most likely.
