That works too

I have gathered from this board that Tiger Rhyno is supposedly a super fan (critic/tard) of the astros but I have made more games in Houston in the last year than he has in the last three, and I live out of state.

dude, I went to tons of games when I lived in town. I went to every playoff game in the 2000s. I've watched the stros since the very early 80s and went to my first game in the dome in 82 or 83 and saw Kevin Bass hit 2 HR against Mickey Mahler and the Expos. My credentials are unrivaled. I'm not giving up a whole lot of time with my young kids at night to go watch a minor league team. now they seem to be building some credibility back I will likely go see a couple of games in person this year. Deal with it.

Was the tweet really from cosart? If so, please post what he said for the non tweeter folks in this thread

Edit: I believe by most accounts it was cosart who bitched the most when appel got to throw a bullpen session at mmp last season.

Someone responded to Mctaggart and said "but how does Jared Cosart feel?"

Cosart responded:

Just 3 days until pitchers/catchers report.

A few things:

Just saw this posted on Crawfish Boxes... Koby Clemens going to be a minor league instructor.

Apparently, he's being groomed to be a manager. Hope he does better as an instructor than he did at hitting curve balls.

And another good article about the Free Agent SP market next season. Some pretty good logic and Luhnow-esque stats to support who the Astros might pick up next off-season. Hint: It's not Zimmerman

Of course, that's all just cherry-picking stats to support an idea. But it does seem to cherry-pick stats in a very Luhnow mindset. The article also links to another article explaining pitch framing by catchers. Apparently, it is something that Conger is extremely good at and which Castro is formidably average.
