Nobody said it was going to be easy.
Nobody said a 5'5" kid from Maracay, Venezuela would become the face of Houston, Texas.
Nobody said a Rule 5 shortstop would become a postseason icon.
Nobody said a light hitting kid from New Mexico had 30 bomb power.
Nobody said a chubby 33rd round pick would hit his way to the bigs in 3 years.
And nobody said an injury prone sinker baller would become Charlie fricking Morton, flame throwing World Series legend.
Time to do it all over again. The kids are just getting started.

Even if the Astros film your team's dugout?

Astros were down to the Yankees last year. They have been here before. They can get it done.

I pledge to not respond to or even acknowledge the Red Sox trolls who may appear in this thread. Who's with me?

Don’t listen to the north east controlled sports media, Astros have done nothing wrong. Witch hunt. The Elizabeth warrans couldn’t hit so they blame cheating, pathetic

So I watched the Pearce HR again, and I’m not sure that’s on Joe Smith
The ball was a few inches off the inside of the plate, Pearce just did a really good job of turning on it. Now I don’t know his stats as far as hitting inside/outside pitches, but that would have been a ball had he not swung.
Bit of a moot point, just an observation
Posted this in other thread. I’d expect to see him again today. Neither he or Osuna have pitched in the last 10+ days
ETA: Osuna was just off, 24 pitches and didn’t get a single swing and miss. That’s unusual
Wonder if he’s tipping his pitches, seemed like they only swung at fastballs

Need to get Correa back to clean-up, or move Bregman to 2. He doesnt have any protection behind him.

I hope he does this tonight, and if not DEFINITELY for tomorrow's game. Correa has looked fantastic in the field, it's only a matter of time for him to look equally as good at the plate (Altuve is finally there and it definitely wasn't immediately).
I think someone steps up tonight, not sure who...but I'll take ANYONE!!!!!
