Even if we lose today, it's still not over IMO since we're awesome on the road, NONETHELESS, we have to win this game today. Last night's offense was pathetic.

Wasn't sure if was you or someone else, but I saw this line in the DAT last night, it made me lmao.

You know, I was actually in a very unusual situation last night when Maldonado came up with the bases loaded

Due to his career record vs Montgomery, I had expectations of a favorable result

I'm not sure if that has ever happened before when he stepped in the box

I'm right there with you. Our regular DAT posters have been some of the most reliable visitors to this website even during the off season.

For some reason, Chicken allows just non-stop trolling during the post season. I'm too old for that bull shite. I'll just keep my visits here to a minimum until the off season kicks up next week.

He had good numbers against Montgomery. Even worked a great at bat for a walk hid first time to the plate. Then when it really mattered and we needed him to deliver on it, he was a useless blob.

The Astros need Tucker to get his head out of his arse. His laziness in right turned a single into a double, which led to the first run of the game. And he’s been invisible at the plate for awhile now.

Would also be nice if Altuve has exhausted his quota of baserunning farts.

JV did his part. Didn’t have electric stuff and yet still got them to the 7th with a chance. Two runs in 6 2/3 is a reasonable outing.

Yep.

Hard to win when Yordan has an off game, Ted is having an off post-season, and Bregs smokes two balls that get caught.

At least we can count on Tuve on the bases.

Not the first time someone has taken an extra base on his laziness this year. But it's hard to believe in that situation in the playoffs, he's lightly jogging to go get the ball expecting that Carter was just going to shut it down and settle for first. He hasn't hit for 2 months, the least he could contribute is to bust arse on defense.

He only has pull power. And I mean straightaway LF, not LC

Smoltz even went on about him needing inner third and waiting on it

He is not going to transition into Brantley until this contract is over, if ever

Yed is all kinds of messed up right now, and Tucker is Maldonado-esque. Bad timing, but a road trip can do wonders for this bunch, for whatever reason

It sort of got lost in the shuffle the other night because we ended up winning, but I thought he half assed it on Julien’s lead off double in game 4.

Our offense is doing what it's done all year. No surprise really. Abreu has decided to be productive? Great, here's Bregman, Tucker and Altuve in slumps. We can't get one guy to break out of a slump without having another go into a slump. Offense hasn't clicked at the same time but maybe once this year. That Detroit, Boston roadtrip. Then we came home and got swept.

There's so much to hate about this team.

That 3 game series in Arlington in Sept was historical.

Granted, the balls were juiced

I'm expecting them to use the same balls this time around. The network desperately wants 7 games

Brantley in. Doobie out.

Moldy still there. A little mix up with the lineup as well.

And they come out of the woodwork, even some who are Astros fans. They never post a single time all year, then boom! Do they even watch the games in the regular season?

That left center ball was almost always a hit, especially against someone who never played at MMP before. Carter was pretty lucky with that catch.

Rangers luck (and they were last night!) needs to run out today!

He'd be on the IL if this was the regular season.
