I can't make myself want to get rid of Carter. Not after 12 games.

If he has a full season like 2012, then dump his arse

I'm over him. .167 on at bats that don't result in home runs. Its literally home run or strikeout for him.

Yeah it's tough to watch him too. His approach and mechanics at the plate just seem off to me and always have

posting on CrawfishBoxes and they're so enamored with homeruns that they've attacked me as "skewing his stats". please. Yeah homeruns are exciting but Carter literally doesn't do shite if he's not hitting a home run. He's a poor hitter. He's so strong and swings at fricking everything that yeah...he can run into 35 of them a year but he otherwise is complete garbage.

Lefty on Lefty/Righty on Righty is the most overused shite in baseball.

I honestly don't know if I've seen a major leaguer swing and miss as often as him. I agree with the earlier post that Luhnow was trying to sell high on Carter this offseason and it didn't work out. Now they're stuck with him because he's playing like total shite

I just cannot watch a team long term with both Gattis and Carter in the lineup.

It's really rough. I'd like to see Marwin a lot more at 1B in the short term

This is definitely not a team that's going to score many runs by stringing hits together.

Nope. It's home run or bust for this team so far.

It is nice having a certain level of confidence that we can hold a two run lead. The last two seasons I would see this as a likely loss
