While promoting tonight's UFC 190 on Twitter this afternoon, UFC President Dana White had a rough encounter with a pro wrestling fan regarding the price of the show.

A Twitter user criticized White and the UFC over UFC 190's $60 price tag in comparison to WWE Network's $9.99 price tag. White said that he agreed the price was high, but that fake entertainment should have a $9.99 price tag.

White followed up and said that he wasn't disrespecting anything WWE did, and noted he had positive interactions with WWE Superstars in the past, but was looking to differentiate UFC and WWE in his statement.

SethRollinsGuy @RKORollins
I wish I could watch the Rousey fight tmrw night. Vince got you beat there @danawhite. Our PPV's are only $9.99.

Dana White @danawhite
@RKORollins I hear u bro but fake shite should be 9.99

SethRollinsGuy @RKORollins
@danawhite Bro. Try it out some time. Walk out of that ring and tell me it's fake.

Dana White @danawhite
@RKORollins not disrespecting what they do. All the WWE guys I have met are awesome people but yes it's fake.

Bully Ray @REALBully5150
Good thing you had "FAKE" @BrockLesnar in @ufc to be your biggest PPV draw of all time.

Yeah if both were $60 and you're forcing me to buy one of them it's gonna be the WWE PPV every time.

The result of wrestling is fake, but most of the time the lead up to that end is better then the UFC

UFC is a work as much as WWE. They pre-determine the winners of the matches. And if you watch the matches the fighters talk to each other like wrestlers do.

UFC is faked because the fighters would be killing each other in the ring. After McCain went after it as "human cock fighting" the UFC became a work like wrestling.

Ironic that UFCs biggest star dedicated her $60 per buy championship fight to the memory of a WWE Hall of Famer.

Guys like Lesnar have moved between WWE and UFC quite easily. That's because it's a work. I like the WWE, but I know it's a work. UFC is a work but they've managed unlike wrestling to keep it hidden from most people.

I 100% believe there have been worked fights in the UFC.

The first one that was obvious to me was Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz. I don't think Ortiz has had a legit fight in MMA since 2004ish

Yeah. Like wrestling it used to not be a work. Wrestling was real until the 1920s when promoters and wrestlers realized they could make more money by pre-determining certain outcomes and matches and moves to get people better matches.

UFC remember is a private company. It's not like boxing where you have federations that sanction fights for championships and we all know there have been fixed fights in boxing until state commissions and the feds got involved.

UFC is fixed because there's more money in pre-determining the outcome and it's a private company. It's like golf, boxing, golf where you have individuals who compete or the NFL or MLB where you have owners.

The UFC is an organization where the fighters work for the UFC.
